THE REASON WHY YOUTH SHOULD CARE FOR THE SKIN

We all know that the skin is the largest  organ in the human body. Besides holding our insides together, it also plays a leading role in how we appear to  others and  ourselves. Skin is also an organ that cannot be transplanted so what you do with it from a very young age determines how you will always look and how healthy your skin will be. Reality is that skin cancer does not only affect older people. Establishing a daily skin care regime is a necessity and it  is  not  rocket  science. 

FACT: Nearly 85% of young people develop acne. You have a choice, you can sit back and blame it on genetics, your age, or you can do something about it and try prevention. Certain factors can cause skin flare ups:-

• Wouldn’t you know it the hormones are the main culprit - unfortunately you can’t avoid this one but  try and minimize the effects

• Friction caused by leaning on or rubbing the skin - A reason why flare ups  happen during exams - stressful times

• Pressure  from  bike helmets, backpacks, tight collars

• Environmental irritations - pollution & high humidity when oil & sweat  are  dual  culprits
